About this activity

A new world. -Can you breathe underwater? Well yes, through the SCBA, we are able to breathe freely with an average autonomy of about 1 hour (depending on how hungry you are for air), at a depth of 5 meters. -What is ARA? The air breathing apparatus is a set of equipment: cylinder, regulators (underwater snorkel) and Jacket (a jacket that allows us to float underwater) -Where does the activity take place? Theory: Diving Center Delimited basin: Spiaggia del Riso Open waters: from inflatable boat in AMP The Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara extends from Capo Boi to the island of Serpentara, but its heart is located on the Isola dei Cavoli where zones A are located (only divers are allowed access) and B or those rich in marine life. Obviously they are not the only points where marine flora and fauna are in abundance, in fact, based on the marine weather conditions, you can dive at the rock of S. Caterina or Cava Usai.

Amazing experience!

The guys were great. It was my first time trying this and I was scared as hell! Jacopo was very instructive and patient. He led us out into the water by boat and was patient as I worked on my breathing. Would 100% recommend. Great tea too!

Professional and cool team

We spent two mornings with the Archeo team, snorkeling and then a guided dive for my husband and myself (certified divers) and a try dive for our 10 year old. We were very happy with the service. The guides were professional but also cool and relaxed, and very good with our child. They created a good atmosphere on the boat which for me is an important ingredient of a good dive. The sea bottom in Villasimius is nice, don't expect to see anything extraordinary but in the reserve there is a lot of fish.

Lovely afternoon

we had a scuba diving excursion on a sunday afternoon. It turned out to be a private excursion beacause we where the only participants. I had broken my toe the day earlier and wanst sure how it would turned out. Julia and Michele where super friendly and making sure we were doing ok during the whole experience. The big boot was broken so we had to take the little boot. Michele was so friendly to hold the parasol above our heads when we came on board to rest a bit. They offered water and verry delicious cookies during the trip. Tank you for the memories, you where lovely. Kathia & Yannick

Professional and friendly Center!

I was only there for 2 days but I would’ve liked to stay even longer! I did 4 dives in total and all of them were amazing. The staff was very friendly and open to make connections further than only business. One member of the staff even said I could try out his own equipment(backplate and wing bcd) when I mentioned I was interested in them. I sadly did not have enough time to try it out as I had to leave again. In overall the dive Center was amazing and would defenirly recommend this dive Center to other people!

Great experience

We went on a snorkel trip and it was actually very nice! They are very professional and kind with the tourists. It’s also a nice point that they know several languages (since we are from Spain and don’t know any Italian) They have a pick up service as well and for a good price. It was a great experience, I strongly recommend it!
