Amazing Pasta making class on the Farm

Headed out to Irene's farm house for the class. Not that easy to find but she called and guided us the last couple turns. Arrived, parked and was greeted by a dog or 2, love it, i love the farms where the dogs run wild and take care of things.
She gave a us a couple recipes for pasta dough, and we proceeded to make 5 to 6 shapes. It was a fun setting and awesome to learn. Irene is not afraid to tell you if you are doing something wrong in your prep. After the creation of some raviolis and tageltella for dinner, she and her son did the rest for dinner. Dinner with your other classmates is a 4-5 course feast with wine. Great time and great experience. Her farm is probably 7miles outside of Algerho, so be prepared for a drive to get there.

Fantastic workshop

The workshop was geven by a good teacher in a very relaxed atmosphere. We learned a lot about the Italian kitchen how to make pasta and ravioli. We ate all of this afterwards in a beautifull country garden with all who were part of the workshop. We had a great time and recommand every body to do this workshop.
Beautiful Night in Alghero

This was a truly excellent evening. I've never cooked anything in my life so making homemade pasta was a totally new experience for me, and I had lots of fun doing so! I will still say that I enjoyed eating the pasta more than making it. My wife and I are from New York and we had an awesome time getting to know the other guests from around Europe (while we all drank lots of Irene's homemade wine).

This was my first experience of a cooking class. I can say that it was amazing! The cooking class itself was 3 hours, but all of the students were able to sit and enjoy the dinner for a couple hours after the course. It was a great experience. Even my husband, that is not so social blended into the evening and enjoyed the company of others. It was a great opportunity to not only learn how to make pasta, but to make some acquaintances, that will hopefully become close friends in the future. Since I booked this trip to be able to learn about Italian food, I hoped to be able to enjoy the meal with the host afterwards. I understand though that it may be very repetitive for the host to sit and eat the same meal with the participants though, as I am sure this class is given multiple times per week. I guess I just wanted to actually learn about the family and more about Italy in general. I was however, able to get to know 3 other couples that were very interesting individuals, with some of whom we hope to keep in touch with. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for something fun and new to do! The appetizers and wine were wonderful! The setting of the dinner table was very beautiful and well prepared as well! I love that we weren't at all hurried to finish our meals or leave after we finished, but were able to continue enjoying the company of the other participants for a total of 2 hours after the cooking class ended. Thank you so much for this great opportunity!

This was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very sweet and informative. We learned how to make several different type of traditional Sardinian pasta, and then enjoyed a lovely full dinner with our classmates in the hosts yard. This is the exact thing that I like to look for when traveling, to have an intimate experience in a locals home.
I have to say that some of the nasty reviews are pretty ridiculous! this is not listed as some sort of master culinary type course, and while we didn't exactly take part in the full on cooking of the sauces and meal completion, it wasn't exactly advertised as such- you learn how to make the pasta, and whether you have made pasta before or not, it is very helpful to learn the techniques as well as what is typical of a certain place.
The company, our fellow travelers and pasta makers were also quite wonderful as they were from various countries as well.
